Spanish football is mourning the loss of CD Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel Alameda, who died on November 3, 2026, after a devastating collision during a match against FC Andorra. He was just 30 years old.
A MATCH THAT NEVER FINISHED.
On November 2, during stoppage time in Spain's second division, De Miguel collided with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono. He required emergency medical treatment after suffering cardiac arrest and was taken to hospital. The match was abandoned with the score tied at 2–2. On the morning of November 3, CD Tenerife confirmed his death.
