EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN CASINO. THESE GUYS HAD TWO. AND A POLICE RAID.
Two alleged illegal casinos, 29 arrests in a broader investigation and AU$600,000 seized. A rather ambitious home game.

YOUR CASINO. YOUR RULES. UNTIL THE POLICE ARRIVE.
Some people spend years applying for a gambling licence. Others allegedly set up casino rooms in Melbourne suburbs. Victoria Police uncovered suspected illegal venues in Carnegie and Box Hill during a broader organised-crime investigation. Across that investigation, officers arrested 29 people.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOME GAME IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.
Police said searches across several addresses uncovered approximately AU$600,000 in cash, casino chips, seven kilograms of methamphetamine, five kilograms of ketamine, firearms and other weapons. These were seizures across the wider operation, not necessarily inside either casino.
THE HOUSE DOESN'T ALWAYS WIN.
One suspected venue was discovered on August 15, another on October 20. Police found gambling rooms, alleged participants and staff; investigations and legal proceedings continue. Allegations must not be confused with convictions.
BETDILLA TAKE: EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN CASINO.
Some want a casino app. Others prefer a luxurious VIP room. These guys, allegedly, went for a whole neighbourhood experience. The punchline is ours; determining criminal liability is the court's job. A room full of chips still isn't a gambling licence.
