WHEN YOUR PERFORMANCE CREATIVE IS PURE FICTION.

Polymarket reportedly dismissed marketing chief Matthew Modabber after an internal review. According to New York Post and subsequent reporting, the investigation raised concerns over staged promotional wins and marketing practices. The allegations are not judicial findings, and Polymarket has not publicly confirmed every detail.

PERSONAL PAYPAL IS NOT AN AD ACCOUNT.

Reporting also raised questions about influencer payments through a personal PayPal account, with some alleged sponsorships not clearly disclosed. A reported $2.5 million in total account transfers must not be represented as a proven $2.5 million secret influencer budget.

SOUND FAMILIAR, CASINO MARKETERS?.

Gaming teams routinely use creator deals, testimonials, affiliate commissions and performance bonuses. The tools are normal. Fake profit claims, undisclosed sponsorships and opaque payment chains aren't. The risk is rarely one rogue video: it is an approval process designed only to maximise reach.

THE CASINO ANTI-SCANDAL CHECKLIST.

Require signed creator contracts; compliance review of win claims; visible paid-promotion labels; company-controlled payment accounts; dual approval for payments; an auditable roster of agencies and subcontractors; geo-specific checks; and archived copies of approved creatives. Audit actual published content, not only reports from an agency.

BETDILLA TAKE: YOUR ROAS DASHBOARD WON'T TESTIFY FOR YOU.

An incredible CPA can hide a very expensive problem. Put legal and compliance in the workflow before publishing. If the first time your company sees an influencer's 'winning' video is during a regulator's investigation, that isn't growth hacking. That's governance failure.
